Research and Development of an Intelligent and Efficient Transportation System for Electric Autonomous Mining Trucks in Open-Pit Mines under High-Cold Environmental Conditions
Abstract:Open-pit coal mines in high-cold environments face issues such as equipment stability and personnel safety under extreme climatic conditions. The stripping process is a crucial link in coal mining production. Currently, the stripping process in domestic open-pit coal mines mainly adopts a commissioned production model, which poses significant safety challenges. At present, the annual commissioned engineering volume of Yimin Open-pit Mine, a subsidiary of Huaneng Yimin Coal and Electricity Co., Ltd. (referred to as Yimin Open-pit Mine), is approximately 10 million cubic meters, with over 300 vehicles working at peak times. All vehicles are manually driven, with more than 1,200 employees involved. The comprehensive capabilities of drivers vary greatly, and the safety control of commissioned operations is difficult. From the perspectives of safety and economy, the commissioned stripping model is not sustainable in the long term.
