High-Precision Positioning System for Moving Targets Underground Based on UWB Technology: Application in Hongliulin Coal Mine
Abstract:To meet the demand for positioning of rapidly moving targets underground in Hongliulin Coal Mine, a high-precision positioning system based on UWB technology is proposed. The system uses a self-developed UWB positioning module and achieves three-dimensional positioning through the TOA ranging algorithm and an improved Chan algorithm. The system was tested in the comprehensive mining face of the 5-2 coal seam and its upper and lower transportation tunnels in Hongliulin Coal Mine. Test results show that for targets with a speed less than 10 m/s, the positioning accuracy is better than 20 cm, and the positioning refresh rate is 50 Hz. The system has good robustness and reliability, and is suitable for the complex and changing underground environment, providing technical support for underground personnel tracking and equipment monitoring.
