Abstract：The undeveloped coal resources in the Jurassic coalfield of northern Shaanxi account for 28.98% of the country's total. The conditions are good and the starting point is high, making it the most potential mining area for releasing advanced production capacity in China. The construction of new mines and capacity enhancement in the northern Shaanxi coal base are of great significance for national coal supply security and energy security. Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Mining Co., Ltd. (referred to as Yanchang Mining) owns 21 billion tons of coal resources in northern Shaanxi, and is the main force in the 'westward shift' strategy of national coal development. By the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan, its production capacity will exceed 50 million tons, and by the end of the 15th Five-Year Plan, it will break through 100 million tons.
