Lightweight Vehicle Flow Detection and Analysis Based on YOLOv8
Abstract：The paper designs a lightweight vehicle flow detection and analysis system based on YOLOv8, using advanced object detection algorithms to achieve real-time monitoring and statistics of vehicle flow. The system uses YOLOv8 for fast and accurate vehicle detection, allowing users to customize detection areas, such as setting virtual lines at intersections to count the number of vehicles passing through the area. The results show that the system maintains high detection accuracy and speed in complex traffic scenarios, effectively improving the detection effect of small target vehicles, and achieving a good balance between accuracy and speed.
