Research on the Accessibility of Urban Parks in Quzhou Based on Network Analysis
Abstract:Taking the urban parks in the central area of Quzhou City as the research object, this study uses ArcGIS software to analyze the service area of urban parks under three modes of travel: walking, non-motorized vehicles, and motor vehicles. It also evaluates the accessibility of parks in different areas and the coverage of residential areas within the accessible range of parks. The results show that urban parks are unevenly distributed, with the old city area performing better than other areas. The ZhiZao New District and Jiangbei Area lack urban parks. The connectivity of urban parks is poor, and the Qiu River and Wuxi River have not been fully utilized to create landscape corridors connecting the old city area with the Jiangbei Area and the ZhiZao New District. The accessibility of urban parks under non-motorized and motor vehicle travel modes is significantly higher than that under walking. The area of residential areas within a 5-minute walk from parks is relatively small.
