Evolution of Scientific and Technological Innovation Spaces in Guangzhou and the Spatial Response of Talent
Abstract：Innovation is a distinctive feature of new quality productive forces. Urban scientific and technological innovation spaces provide fertile ground for scientific and technological innovation activities, and they continue to evolve with the activities of innovation subjects such as innovative talents and enterprises. Based on patent data and population census data, this paper uses spatial analysis methods to comprehensively summarize the evolution characteristics of the structure of Guangzhou's scientific and technological innovation spaces from 2000 to 2023, explores the positive driving effect of talent on the output of scientific and technological innovation spaces and its distance attenuation law, and puts forward corresponding suggestions for the development of scientific and technological innovation and talent cultivation in Guangzhou.
