Design of an Automated Assembly System Based on Mitsubishi PLC
Abstract:With the continuous improvement of industrial automation level, the application of automated equipment is becoming more and more widespread. In order to improve the efficiency of industrial production, this paper designs an automated assembly system based on Mitsubishi Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), providing a solution for automated production lines. The automated assembly system uses the Mitsubishi FX5U series PLC to control the operation of the production line, and the GOT2000 series touch screen to achieve remote control and online monitoring. The system can realize the feeding of medicine granules into bottles, capping, tightening, sorting of qualified products, and finished product storage. The paper uses GX Work3 software to write the ladder diagrams for the feeding, capping, sorting, and storage parts, and uses GT Designer3 to set up the touch screen. It verifies some functions through the joint simulation of PLC and touch screen. The system can obtain real-time information about the operation of the assembly system, thus improving the efficiency and automation level of the production line.
