Research on the Governance of Traffic Congestion in the Central Urban Area of Linyi from the Perspective of Intelligent Transportation
Abstract：In recent years, with the acceleration of urbanization, the population and urban scale of Linyi City have rapidly expanded, and the number of motor vehicles has sharply increased. The city's transportation is facing a sharp contradiction in supply and demand and significant pressure from traffic congestion. The planning and construction of roads can no longer meet the needs of the city's continuous development. Traffic congestion has become one of the important factors hindering the economic development of Linyi and the improvement of people's sense of happiness. This study takes the central urban area of Linyi City as the main research object, comprehensively considers the traffic connections between the city and county areas, focuses on key areas such as around schools, commercial centers, and hospitals, explores traffic congestion issues from the perspective of intelligent transportation, and proposes strategies to improve traffic congestion in the central urban area.
