Current Situation and Countermeasures for Flood Resource Utilization in China
Abstract：In order to further promote the scientific regulation of large lakes and reservoirs during flood periods, strengthen the safe utilization of flood resources, and alleviate the contradiction between water supply and demand in China, the Science and Technology Committee of the Ministry of Water Resources organized a group of committee members and invited experts to form an expert advisory group. The Nanjing Hydraulic Research Institute served as the technical support unit. The group conducted special consultations on the current status of technological innovation and application in flood resource utilization, the bottlenecks faced, and related countermeasures, and formed the following main advisory opinions.
