Nursing Experience of Microwave Ablation for a Rare Case of Diffuse Lymphatic Malformation in the Foot
Abstract:This article summarizes the nursing experience after microwave ablation for a rare case of diffuse lymphatic malformation in the foot. Nursing points include: using cold therapy to effectively relieve postoperative pain and skin thermal injury complications; using medical compression stockings to accelerate the establishment of collateral lymphatic circulation; paying attention to the observation and effective management of wounds to promote rapid recovery. With careful treatment and nursing, the child recovered well and was discharged on the 7th day after surgery. Follow-up six months after discharge showed that the appearance and function of the right foot were good, and the family expressed satisfaction with the treatment outcome.
