Clinical Significance of Changes in Coagulation Function Indicators in Patients with Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss Treated with Bactroban
Abstract:Objective: To understand the clinical significance of changes in coagulation function indicators in patients with sudden sensorineural hearing loss treated with bactroban. Methods: A total of 80 patients with sudden sensorineural hearing loss admitted to Baiyun Hospital, Guizhou Medical University from July 2021 to May 2023 were selected. The patients were divided into a control group (40 cases) and an observation group (40 cases). The control group was treated with alprostadil, while the observation group was treated with bactroban combined with alprostadil. The clinical treatment effects, improvement of clinical symptoms, coagulation function indicators, and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate of the observation group (bactroban combined with alprostadil treatment) was 75.0%, which was higher than that of the control group (alprostadil treatment) at 60.0% (P < 0.05). The time for tinnitus relief, vertigo relief, and pure tone threshold after two courses of treatment in the observation group were (7.05 ± 1.84) days, (9.13 ± 2.75) days, and (31.76 ± 4.81) dB, respectively, which were lower than those in the control group (9.13 ± 2.45) days, (10.70 ± 3.82) days, and (38.40 ± 5.79) dB, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). The coagulation function indicators of the observation group, including activated partial thromboplastin time, prothrombin time, thrombin time, and fibrinogen, were (32.87 ± 4.70)s, (23.20 ± 4.18)s, (24.37 ± 3.75)s, and (3.17 ± 1.20)g/L, respectively, which showed statistically significant differences compared to the control group (29.50 ± 4.63)s, (18.73 ± 2.62)s, (21.60 ± 2.47)s, and (4.32 ± 1.46)g/L (P < 0.05). The total incidence of adverse reactions such as nausea and vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal distension, and headache in the observation group was 7.5%, slightly lower than that of the control group at 10.0%, but the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Bactroban treatment has a positive effect on the clinical treatment effect, improvement of clinical symptoms, and improvement of coagulation function indicators in patients with sudden sensorineural hearing loss, indicating that bactroban treatment has greater value for promotion.
