Current Situation and High-quality Development Strategies Research on the Medicinal and Dietary Homology Industry in the New Era
Abstract:As a treasure of the Chinese nation, medicinal and dietary homology plays a key role in meeting the health needs of the people in the new era. This study adopts a mixed research method combining in-depth interviews and questionnaires to conduct a systematic investigation of seven representative enterprises, including Liaoning Province, analyzing the current situation, problems, and possible strategies for the development of the medicinal and dietary homology industry. The study found that the core issues restricting the development of the medicinal and dietary homology industry mainly focus on three aspects: lagging standardization system, insufficient core technological innovation capability, and lack of market trust mechanism. These three core issues are interdependent, leading to the failure of converting industrial resource advantages into competitive advantages. To solve these difficulties, this study proposes a comprehensive solution with stages and multiple dimensions. It is recommended to prioritize breaking through from the source control of raw materials to establish a standardized distribution system, fully implement the quality management system of traditional Chinese medicine production, build a rigorous efficacy evaluation system from in vitro to in vivo, and a full-chain quality traceability system to address the issue of lagging standards. For the problem of insufficient core technological innovation, it is suggested to use advanced technologies such as supercritical extraction to efficiently extract active ingredients, microencapsulation to enhance product value-added, and scientific validation of efficacy. To solve the problem of lack of market trust mechanism, it is proposed to cultivate compound talents who understand medicine, production, and sales through an integrated platform, build an integrated marketing communication strategy centered on trust, and use blockchain technology and traceable barcodes to achieve this goal. This study provides concrete strategic recommendations and operable path planning for the development of the medicinal and dietary homology industry, aiming to provide theoretical support and practical reference for its industrial transformation and high-quality development, promoting the development of the medicinal and dietary homology industry in Liaoning Province and providing important guarantees for the implementation of the 'Healthy China' strategy.
