Application Effect of Multimodal Educational Program Guided by Health Ecology Theory in Patients with Heart Failure
Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of a multimodal educational program guided by health ecology theory in patients with heart failure. Methods A total of 110 patients with heart failure admitted to Fucheng Hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, each with 55 cases. In addition to basic treatment, the control group received conventional nursing care, while the observation group received a multimodal educational program guided by health ecology theory. The self-management ability, exercise tolerance, quality of life, and improvement of cardiac function indicators were compared between the two groups. Results After nursing intervention, the 6-minute walk test and left ventricular ejection fraction levels of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, while the left ventricular end-systolic diameter and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter levels were lower, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). The scores of the heart failure self-care index scale and the total score of the comprehensive quality of life assessment questionnaire in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). Conclusion A multimodal educational program guided by health ecology theory can effectively improve the exercise tolerance and cardiac function of patients with heart failure, and also enhance their self-management ability and quality of life.
