Application Effect of Perinatal Dietary Control Combined with Individual Nutritional Monitoring in Prenatal Management
Abstract:Objective To evaluate the significance of perinatal dietary control combined with individual nutritional monitoring in prenatal care. Methods Eighty perinatal pregnant women who were registered for prenatal care at Fucheng City Dongzhang Town Central Health Center from January to December 2024 were selected and randomly divided into a control group and a study group, each with 40 cases. The control group received routine perinatal health management, while the study group received perinatal dietary control combined with individual nutritional monitoring on top of routine care. Relevant data during the prenatal care process were compared to assess the effectiveness of different health strategies. Results The weight gain during pregnancy, pre-delivery body mass index, weight gain from 28 weeks of gestation to delivery, neonatal weight, and weight and body mass index 6 months postpartum in the study group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in fasting blood glucose, 2-hour postprandial blood glucose, total cholesterol, triglycerides, alanine aminotransferase, urea nitrogen, aspartate aminotransferase, and creatinine levels on the day before delivery (P > 0.05). However, the levels of calcium, iron, magnesium, sodium, potassium, vitamin A, vitamin B, and vitamin D in the study group on the day before delivery were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). Conclusion Perinatal dietary control combined with individual nutritional monitoring can effectively control weight gain during pregnancy and improve the nutritional status during pregnancy.
