Clinical Research Progress on the Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine External Treatments in Promoting Wound Healing After Perianal Abscess Surgery
Abstract:Perianal abscess is a common disease in proctology. Surgery is the main treatment method, but patients often face problems such as wound infection, pain, and scar formation after surgery. Traditional Chinese medicine external treatments have multi-target and multi-mechanism effects, showing certain advantages in promoting postoperative wound repair. This paper systematically reviews traditional Chinese medicine external treatments such as herbal fumigation and sitting baths, external application of Chinese medicine, gauze packing, surrounding therapy, medicinal thread drainage, moxibustion, and their combined applications, in the clinical research progress of promoting wound healing after perianal abscess surgery, aiming to provide references for the development of wound healing schemes after perianal abscess surgery.
