Research Progress on Adherence to Continuous Positive Airway Pressure Therapy in Patients with Insomnia Coexisting with Obstructive Sleep Apnea
Abstract:Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a sleep disorder characterized by snoring during sleep accompanied by breathing pauses and daytime sleepiness. Globally, approximately 4% to 9% of adults suffer from OSA, which leads to decreased partial pressure of oxygen, accumulation of carbon dioxide, and sleep fragmentation [1-2].
