A Case Report of Combined Periodontal-Orthodontic-Implant Treatment Based on Digital Technology
Abstract：With the increasing attention to oral health issues, the complexity and diversity of oral diseases in clinical treatment have increased, and the concept of multidisciplinary treatment has gradually become popular [1]. In recent years, digital technology has been widely applied in the diagnosis and treatment of oral diseases, providing more accurate technical support for clinical dentistry [2]. This article reports a case with periodontitis, malocclusion, temporomandibular joint disorder, and retained deciduous teeth. A combined periodontal-orthodontic-implant treatment plan was adopted based on digital technology. The orthodontic treatment plan was designed 'starting from the end' to achieve the establishment of the centric relation occlusion. The application of digital surgical guides enabled more precise implant placement, and the implant treatment was integrated into the orthodontic treatment process, shortening the treatment cycle and improving patient satisfaction.
