Mesenchymal Stem Cell Exosomes and the Treatment of Ovarian Function Decline
Abstract:Ovarian function decline is a key issue in women's reproductive health, involving multiple factors such as genetic factors, oxidative stress, mitochondrial dysfunction, inflammatory responses, and abnormalities in the ovarian microenvironment. In recent years, mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and their derived exosomes (MSC-extracellular vesicles, MSC-EVs) have shown significant potential in improving ovarian function. This article systematically reviews the role and mechanisms of MSC-EVs in the treatment of ovarian function decline.
