Cellular and Molecular Basis of Uterine Receptivity
Abstract:1 Introduction
Embryo implantation is a crucial step in early pregnancy, directly affecting subsequent pregnancy events and outcomes. In each natural cycle, the pregnancy success rate is less than 30%, and implantation failure is one of the main causes of pregnancy loss [1-2].
The prerequisite for embryo implantation is: a blastocyst with implantation ability and a uterine endometrium in the receptive state [3]. Defects in uterine receptivity can have adverse effects on subsequent pregnancy events and are one of the main reasons for low implantation rates in assisted reproductive technologies [4].
