Current Status, Challenges, and Prospects in the Management of Twin Pregnancy
Abstract:The maternal and fetal risks of twin pregnancy are much higher than those of singleton pregnancy, and clinical management is difficult, making it a key focus and hotspot in perinatal medicine. In recent years, with the development of the discipline and technological advances, the standardized management level of twin pregnancy in China has been greatly improved, and the maternal and fetal outcomes of twin pregnancy have also been significantly improved. With the widespread application of assisted reproductive technology, the incidence of twin pregnancy has been increasing year by year. How to continuously standardize the management of twin pregnancy, conduct in-depth research on maternal and fetal complications and comorbidities, and form evidence-based medical evidence in China, has important and far-reaching significance.
