Abstract:Objective To investigate the value of the MDCT(Multi-detector Computed Tomography)in the diagnosis of the pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms. Methods We reviewed 21 cases of pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms confirmed by pa-thology in our hospital from November 2010 to June 2016.All the patients underwent MDCT examination. Results Of all the 21 cases,13 cases were functional tumors and 8 cases were unfunctional.Among them,17 cases were PNET(pancreatic neuroendo-crine tumour)and 3 were PNEC(pancreatic neuroendocrine carcinoma),1 was MANEC(mixed adenoendocrine carcinoma),12 cases were solid and 9 were cystic-solid.16 cases were obvious enhancement,3 and 2 were moderate and mild enhancement,re-spectively.Most of the PNET cases were manifested as obvious enhancement, but the PNEC ones mainly showed moderate or mild enhancement. There was statistically significant difference between them(P <0.05).The density of PNET cases tended to be more homogeneous than the PNEC,without statistically significant difference(P >0.05).Conclusion MDCT has great value in the diagnosis of the pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms, and could effectively help the clinical treatment.
