Interpretation of the Chinese Expert Consensus on Diagnosis and Comprehensive Treatment of Gastric Cancer Liver Metastasis (2024 Edition)
Abstract：Gastric cancer ranks fifth in the global incidence of malignant tumors. According to the Globocan 2022 data [1], there are approximately 969,000 new cases each year worldwide, with Asia having the highest incidence, accounting for 75.7% of global cases. China has approximately 359,000 new gastric cancer cases each year, and about 260,000 deaths, ranking fifth and third respectively in the incidence and mortality of malignant tumors in China. The most common target organ for hematogenous metastasis of gastric cancer is the liver [2].
