Predictive Value of Combined Detection of Serum Anti-Sperm Antibodies, Anti-Endometrial Antibodies, and Anti-Ovarian Antibodies for Pregnancy Outcomes in Patients with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
Abstract:Objective: To explore the predictive value of combined detection of serum anti-sperm antibodies (AsAb), anti-endometrial antibodies (EMAb), and anti-ovarian antibodies (AovAb) for pregnancy outcomes in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Methods: A total of 90 PCOS patients admitted to Kaifeng Municipal Women and Children's Health Hospital from September 2020 to September 2023 were selected as the study subjects. According to pregnancy outcomes, they were divided into a group with good pregnancy outcomes (66 cases) and a group with poor pregnancy outcomes (24 cases). The levels of serum AsAb, EMAb, and AovAb were compared between the two groups. The correlation between serum AsAb, EMAb, and AovAb levels and pregnancy outcomes was analyzed, as well as their predictive value for pregnancy outcomes in PCOS patients. Results: The levels of serum AsAb, EMAb, and AovAb in the poor pregnancy outcome group were higher than those in the good pregnancy outcome group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). Serum AsAb, EMAb, and AovAb levels were positively correlated with the risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes in PCOS patients (P < 0.05). High levels of serum AsAb, EMAb, and AovAb were identified as risk factors for adverse pregnancy outcomes in PCOS patients (P < 0.05). The area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve (AUC) for the combined prediction of pregnancy outcomes in PCOS patients by AsAb, EMAb, and AovAb was 0.848, with a Youden index of 0.680, sensitivity of 79.17%, and specificity of 78.79%. The risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes in PCOS patients with high levels of AsAb, EMAb, and AovAb was 3.585 times, 8.235 times, and 2.745 times higher than that in those with low levels, respectively (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Serum AsAb, EMAb, and AovAb levels are closely related to pregnancy outcomes in PCOS patients, and combined detection of these indicators can provide reference value for clinical prediction of pregnancy outcomes in PCOS patients.
