Effect of Fuyuan Tongluo Decoction Combined with Butylphthalide on Serum MCP-1 Levels and Hemorheological Parameters in Patients with Acute Ischemic Cerebral Stroke with Qi Deficiency and Blood Stasis Syndrome
Abstract:Objective: To analyze the effect of Fuyuan Tongluo Decoction combined with butylphthalide on serum monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1) levels and hemorheological parameters in patients with acute ischemic cerebral stroke with qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome. Methods: A total of 80 patients with acute ischemic cerebral stroke were selected from Nanyang Second People's Hospital from March 2024 to March 2025. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, each with 40 cases. Both groups received symptomatic treatment. The control group was given oral butylphthalide on the basis of routine treatment, while the observation group received Fuyuan Tongluo Decoction in addition to the treatment of the control group. The clinical efficacy, TCM syndrome scores, neurological function, serum MCP-1 levels, hemorheological parameters, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results: The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P<0.05). After treatment, the TCM syndrome scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P<0.05). After treatment, the NIHSS scores and serum MCP-1 levels of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P<0.05). After treatment, the high shear viscosity, red blood cell aggregation index, plasma viscosity, and low shear viscosity of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the overall incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: Fuyuan Tongluo Decoction combined with butylphthalide can effectively relieve clinical symptoms, improve neurological function, serum MCP-1 levels, and hemorheological parameters in patients with acute ischemic cerebral stroke with qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome, without increasing adverse reactions.
