Effect of Qyu Tongluo Decoction on Acute Cerebral Infarction and Its Impact on Brain Injury Markers
Abstract:Objective: To analyze the clinical effect of Qyu Tongluo Decoction in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction (ACI) and its impact on brain injury markers. Methods: A total of 83 ACI patients admitted to Guxian Town Health Center, Tongbai County from March 2022 to September 2024 were selected as the study subjects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into a control group (41 cases) and an observation group (42 cases). The control group received comprehensive basic treatment, while the observation group received Qyu Tongluo Decoction in addition to the treatment of the control group. The clinical efficacy, neurological function, hemorheological indicators, brain injury markers, and incidence of adverse reactions before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). After treatment, the NIHSS score, fibrinogen level, plasma viscosity, hematocrit, serum neuron-specific enolase (NSE), and central nervous system-specific protein (S100β) levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the overall incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Qyu Tongluo Decoction can improve the clinical effect in patients with ACI, improve neurological function, regulate hemorheology, and does not increase adverse reactions.
