Effect of Different Doses of Atorvastatin Calcium Tablets Combined with Xueshao Baoxin Pills on Vascular Endothelial Function and Prognosis in Patients with Coronary Heart Disease Combined with Heart Failure
Abstract:Objective: To investigate the effect of different doses of atorvastatin calcium tablets combined with Xueshao Baoxin pills on the improvement of vascular endothelial function and the impact on clinical prognosis in patients with coronary heart disease combined with heart failure. Methods: A total of 60 patients with coronary heart disease combined with heart failure admitted to Xiapu County Hospital from January 2024 to January 2025 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into low-dose group and high-dose group using a random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The low-dose group received 40 mg of atorvastatin calcium tablets combined with Xueshao Baoxin pills, while the high-dose group received 60 mg of atorvastatin calcium tablets combined with Xueshao Baoxin pills. The clinical efficacy, vascular endothelial function, cardiac function, and lipid levels before and after treatment were compared between the two groups, as well as the incidence of adverse reactions and cardiovascular adverse events. Results: The total effective rate of treatment in the high-dose group was higher than that in the low-dose group, with a statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). After treatment, the serum levels of endothelin-1 (ET-1) and angiotensin II (Ang II) in the high-dose group were lower than those in the low-dose group, while the nitric oxide (NO) level was higher, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). After treatment, the left ventricular end-systolic diameter (LVESD) and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDD) in the high-dose group were shorter than those in the low-dose group, while the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) was higher, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). The serum triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC), and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels in the high-dose group were lower than those in the low-dose group, while the high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) level was higher, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). During follow-up, there was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of cardiovascular adverse events between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion: The application of high-dose atorvastatin calcium tablets combined with Xueshao Baoxin pills in the clinical treatment of patients with coronary heart disease combined with heart failure can effectively improve vascular endothelial function, promote recovery of cardiac function, regulate lipid metabolism, and enhance clinical efficacy, without significantly increasing the risk of adverse reactions or cardiovascular adverse events.
