Application Effect Analysis of Dujiu Combined with Rehabilitation Training in Patients with Lumbar Disc Herniation
Abstract:Objective: To investigate the application effect of Dujiu combined with rehabilitation training in patients with lumbar disc herniation (LDH). Methods: A total of 90 LDH patients admitted to Zhengzhou Orthopedic Hospital from January 2023 to December 2024 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 45 cases in each group. The control group received conventional rehabilitation training, while the observation group received Dujiu intervention on top of the control group's treatment. The pain level, lumbar function, and lumbar range of motion were compared between the two groups before and after the intervention. Results: After 2 weeks and 4 weeks of intervention, the NRS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). After 4 weeks of intervention, the ODI scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, while the JOA scores were higher, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). After 4 weeks of intervention, the lumbar flexion, extension, and lateral rotation ranges of motion in the observation group were greater than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Dujiu combined with rehabilitation training can alleviate the lumbar pain in LDH patients and improve lumbar function and mobility.
