Treatment of Menstrual Delay in Adolescence from the Perspective of Kidney, Liver, and Spleen by Professor Li Kunyin
Abstract:This study mainly introduces the clinical experience of Professor Li Kunyin in treating menstrual delay in adolescents. Menstrual delay is a common gynecological disease in adolescent females, with various accompanying symptoms that are difficult to cure, seriously affecting the physical and mental health and growth and development of patients. The famous TCM physician Li Kunyin believes, based on many years of clinical experience, that the pathogenesis of this disease is characterized by kidney deficiency as the root cause, and dysfunction of the three organs: kidney, liver, and spleen. The fundamental cause lies in congenital insufficiency and postnatal malnutrition, combined with liver qi stagnation and impaired regulation, leading to the failure of the uterus to fill on time. Treatment should focus on nourishing the kidney, soothing the liver, and strengthening the spleen, thereby achieving the goal of sufficient kidney essence and harmonious qi and blood. Professor Li also pays attention to the emotional care of patients and guides dietary adjustments, with remarkable clinical efficacy.
