Effect of Sacubitril/Valsartan Combined with Qishen Yiqi Dropping Pills on Cardiac Function and Exercise Tolerance in Patients with Coronary Heart Disease and Hypertension
Abstract：Objective: To explore the effect of sacubitril/valsartan combined with Qishen Yiqi dropping pills on cardiac function, exercise tolerance, physical condition, and quality of life in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) combined with hypertension. Methods: A total of 65 patients with CHD and hypertension admitted to YuCheng County People's Hospital from March 2021 to August 2024 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into a control group (32 cases, treated with sacubitril/valsartan) and an observation group (33 cases, treated with sacubitril/valsartan combined with Qishen Yiqi dropping pills). The blood pressure, cardiac function, exercise tolerance, physical condition, and quality of life of the two groups were compared. Results: After treatment, the diastolic blood pressure (DBP) and systolic blood pressure (SBP) of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). After treatment, the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) of the observation group was higher, while the left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDD) was lower than that of the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). After treatment, the peak oxygen uptake per kilogram (VO2/kgmax), anaerobic threshold oxygen uptake per kilogram (AT-VO2/kg), oxygen pulse (O2/HR), and anaerobic threshold metabolic equivalent (AT-METs) of the observation group were all higher than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). After treatment, the scores of all dimensions of the Seattle Angina Questionnaire (SAQ) in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Treatment with sacubitril/valsartan combined with Qishen Yiqi dropping pills for patients with CHD and hypertension can improve their blood pressure, cardiac function, and physical condition, and enhance exercise tolerance and quality of life.
