Clinical Study on the Treatment of Elderly Pulmonary Tuberculosis Combined with Cervical Lymph Node Tuberculosis with Neixiao Luolüe Tablets Combined with Conventional Anti-Tuberculosis Regimen
Abstract：Objective: To investigate the effect of Neixiao Luolüe Tablets combined with conventional anti-tuberculosis regimen in the treatment of elderly pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) combined with cervical lymph node tuberculosis. Methods: A total of 60 elderly patients with PTB combined with cervical lymph node tuberculosis admitted to Zhengzhou Sixth People's Hospital from January 2023 to June 2024 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into control group and observation group, 30 cases each. The control group received conventional anti-tuberculosis treatment, while the observation group received additional Neixiao Luolüe Tablets on top of the control group's treatment. The clinical efficacy, sputum bacteriologic conversion rate, levels of serum inflammatory factors, CD4+/CD8+ ratio, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results: The total effective rate and sputum bacteriologic conversion rate of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). After treatment, the serum levels of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, while the CD4+/CD8+ ratio was higher, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the overall incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion: The combination therapy is effective in treating PTB combined with cervical lymph node tuberculosis, which can effectively improve the sputum bacteriologic conversion rate, reduce inflammatory response, regulate immune function, and does not increase adverse reactions.
