Effect Analysis of Qufeng Huatan Tongluo Decoction Combined with Butylphthalide in the Treatment of Patients with Cerebral Infarction with Wind-Phlegm Stasis Syndrome
Abstract:Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of Qufeng Huatan Tongluo Decoction combined with butylphthalide in the treatment of patients with cerebral infarction and wind-phlegm stasis syndrome. Methods: A total of 88 patients with cerebral infarction and wind-phlegm stasis syndrome admitted to Yexian People's Hospital from August 2022 to August 2024 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, each with 44 cases. The control group received butylphthalide treatment, while the observation group received additional treatment with Qufeng Huatan Tongluo Decoction on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy, neurological function scores and TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment, hemorheological indicators, cerebral blood flow velocity, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). After treatment, the NIHSS scores and all items of TCM syndrome scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). After treatment, the levels of high shear viscosity (HBV), plasma viscosity (PV), low shear viscosity (LBV), and fibrinogen (FIB) in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). After treatment, the peak systolic velocity (Vp), end-diastolic velocity (Vd), and mean flow velocity (Vm) of the middle cerebral artery in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Qufeng Huatan Tongluo Decoction combined with butylphthalide can improve the clinical efficacy of patients with cerebral infarction, reduce neurological damage, correct abnormal cerebral blood flow, and does not increase adverse reactions.
