Effect of Feilike Compound Syrup Combined with Cefoperazone Sodium and Sulbactam Sodium in the Treatment of Pediatric Bronchopneumonia
Abstract:Objective: To investigate the application effect of Feilike Compound Syrup combined with Cefoperazone Sodium and Sulbactam Sodium in pediatric bronchopneumonia. Methods: A total of 106 children with bronchopneumonia treated at Shangqiu No.4 People's Hospital from June 2022 to December 2024 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 53 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Cefoperazone Sodium and Sulbactam Sodium, while the observation group received additional Feilike Compound Syrup on top of the treatment in the control group. The related laboratory indicators before and after treatment, symptom relief time, hospitalization duration, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results: After treatment, the levels of white blood cell count (WBC), neutrophil count (NEU), serum C-reactive protein (CRP), procalcitonin (PCT), interleukin-6 (IL-6), and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in the observation group were all lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). The symptom relief time and hospitalization duration in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: The combination of Feilike Compound Syrup and Cefoperazone Sodium and Sulbactam Sodium in the treatment of children with bronchopneumonia can enhance the anti-infective effect, inhibit inflammatory response, shorten recovery time, and does not increase adverse reactions.
