Clinical Observation of Yiqi Weixue Capsules Combined with Succinic Acid Iron in the Treatment of Pregnancy-Induced Iron-Deficiency Anemia
Abstract：Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of Yiqi Weixue Capsules combined with succinic acid iron in the treatment of pregnancy-induced iron-deficiency anemia. Methods: A total of 80 patients with pregnancy-induced iron-deficiency anemia who visited the Xincai County Maternal and Child Health and Family Planning Service Center from January 2024 to February 2025 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, each with 40 cases. All patients received prenatal nutritional guidance. The control group was treated with ferrous succinate tablets, while the observation group received Yiqi Weixue Capsules in addition to the treatment of the control group. The therapeutic effects, changes in anemia indicators before and after treatment, and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). After treatment, the levels of hemoglobin (Hb) and serum ferritin (SF) in both groups were higher than before treatment, and the observation group had higher levels than the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Yiqi Weixue Capsules combined with succinic acid iron can not only significantly improve the clinical effect in patients with pregnancy-induced iron-deficiency anemia, promote the improvement of anemia, but also reduce the risk of adverse reactions.
