Effect of Yiqi Huoxue Tongluo Decoction Combined with Cerebrophosphocholine Sodium on Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Scores and Cognitive Function in Patients with Lacunar Cerebral Infarction
Abstract：Objective: To analyze the effect of Yiqi Huoxue Tongluo Decoction combined with Cerebrophosphocholine Sodium on Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome scores and cognitive function in patients with lacunar cerebral infarction. Methods: A total of 100 patients with lacunar cerebral infarction treated at Tingxi Health Center, Tong'an District, Xiamen City from July 2022 to July 2023 were selected as the study subjects. According to differences in treatment methods, the patients were divided into groups. Fifty patients who received Cerebrophosphocholine Sodium combined with Yiqi Huoxue Tongluo Decoction were included in the observation group, while the other 50 patients who received only Cerebrophosphocholine Sodium were included in the control group. The daily living ability, neurological function, cognitive function, Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome scores, hemorheological indicators, and incidence of complications were statistically analyzed between the two groups. Results: After treatment, the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score, the Activities of Daily Living (ADL) score, and the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) score of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). The National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score, Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome score, hemorheological indicators, and total incidence of complications were lower in the observation group compared to the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Yiqi Huoxue Tongluo Decoction combined with Cerebrophosphocholine Sodium can effectively improve the Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome scores and cognitive function in patients with lacunar cerebral infarction, and is beneficial for improving the patients' daily living ability and reducing the occurrence of complications.
