Therapeutic Effect of Jiedu Decoction Combined with Pilocarpine Hydrochloride Injection on Patients with Acute Organophosphorus Poisoning
Abstract：Objective: To explore the therapeutic effect of Jiedu Decoction combined with Pilocarpine Hydrochloride Injection (PCHE) on patients with acute organophosphorus poisoning (AOPP). Methods: A total of 85 AOPP patients admitted to Xiayi County People's Hospital from January 2021 to May 2024 were selected as the study subjects and divided into a control group (43 cases) and an observation group (42 cases) according to different treatment regimens. The control group received PCHE injection therapy, while the observation group received Jiedu Decoction in addition to the treatment of the control group. The clinical efficacy, TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment, cardiac function, renal function, and serum inflammatory factor levels were compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). After treatment, the main symptom and secondary symptom scores, as well as the total score of TCM syndrome, serum creatinine (Scr), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), and interleukin-1β (IL-1β) levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, while the cardiac index (CI), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), and the ratio of early to late diastolic peak flow velocity (E/A) were higher in the observation group. All these differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Jiedu Decoction combined with PCHE injection can enhance the clinical effect, relieve clinical symptoms, improve cardiac and renal function, and inhibit inflammatory response in patients with AOPP.
