Effect of Xiangsha Liujun Pills Combined with Quadruple Therapy on Hp Clearance Rate and Serum Inflammatory Factor Levels in Patients with Hp-Positive Chronic Gastritis

Abstract：Objective: To investigate the effect of Xiangsha Liujun Pills combined with quadruple therapy on the Helicobacter pylori (Hp) clearance rate and serum inflammatory factor levels in patients with Hp-positive chronic gastritis (CG). Methods: A total of 80 Hp-positive CG patients admitted to the Development Zone Clinic of Lanxi Kangyang Medical Management Co., Ltd. from January 2022 to November 2024 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, each with 40 cases. The control group received quadruple therapy, while the observation group received Xiangsha Liujun Pills combined with quadruple therapy. The clinical efficacy, Hp clearance rate, main symptom scores, serum inflammatory factor levels, immune function, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate of the observation group (95.00%) was higher than that of the control group (77.50%), with a statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). The Hp clearance rate of the observation group (95.00%) was higher than that of the control group (75.00%), with a statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). After treatment, the main symptom scores (including gastric pain, poor appetite, abdominal distension, and fatigue) of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). After treatment, the serum levels of C-reactive protein (CRP), interleukin (IL)-6, IL-8, and IL-1 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). After treatment, the peripheral blood CD3+ and CD4+ levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, while the CD8+ level was lower, with a statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). During the treatment period, no adverse reactions were observed in either group. Conclusion: Xiangsha Liujun Pills combined with quadruple therapy for the treatment of Hp-positive CG patients can improve clinical efficacy and Hp clearance rate, reduce serum inflammatory factor levels, relieve clinical symptoms, improve immune function, and has high safety.
