Application Effect of Automatic Hemorrhoid Banding (RPH) Combined with Four-Ingredient Hemorrhoidal Blood Decoction in the Treatment of Hemorrhagic Internal Hemorrhoids
Abstract:Objective: To analyze the application effect of automatic hemorrhoid banding (RPH) combined with four-ingredient hemorrhoidal blood decoction in the treatment of hemorrhagic internal hemorrhoids. Methods: A total of 88 patients with hemorrhagic internal hemorrhoids admitted to Xiamen Third Hospital from June 2022 to November 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into control group and observation group according to a random number table method, with 44 cases in each group. The control group received RPH treatment, while the observation group received additional treatment with four-ingredient hemorrhoidal blood decoction on top of RPH. The clinical efficacy, related symptom scores, serum inflammatory factors [C-reactive protein (CRP), interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α)], immune function [immunoglobulin (Ig) A, IgG, IgM levels], incidence of adverse reactions, and disease recurrence after one-year follow-up were compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate of the observation group (95.45%) was higher than that of the control group (81.82%), with a statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). After treatment, the observation group had lower scores for hematochezia and anal prolapse sensation, as well as lower levels of serum CRP, IL-6, and TNF-α, and higher levels of serum IgA, IgG, and IgM compared to the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). The recurrence rate of the observation group after one-year follow-up (6.82%) was lower than that of the control group (22.73%), with a statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). However, there was no statistically significant difference in the overall incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion: RPH combined with four-ingredient hemorrhoidal blood decoction shows significant effects in the treatment of hemorrhagic internal hemorrhoids, effectively improving symptoms such as hematochezia, enhancing the body's immune function, reducing serum inflammatory factor levels, and lowering the recurrence rate of the disease, without increasing adverse reactions.
