Clinical Effect of Compound Biejia Ruangan Pills Combined with Tenofovir Alafenamide in the Treatment of Hepatic Fibrosis in Chronic Hepatitis B
Abstract:Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of compound Biejia Ruangan pills combined with tenofovir alafenamide in the treatment of hepatic fibrosis in chronic hepatitis B (CHB). Methods: A total of 80 patients with CHB-related hepatic fibrosis admitted to Zhengzhou Third People's Hospital from August 2022 to June 2024 were selected as the study subjects. According to different treatment methods, they were divided into an observation group and a control group, each with 40 cases. The control group received tenofovir alafenamide treatment, while the observation group received compound Biejia Ruangan pills combined with tenofovir alafenamide treatment. The laboratory indicators, ultrasound indicators, and clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared. Results: After treatment, the serum total bilirubin (TBIL) and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) levels of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, while the serum albumin (ALB) level was higher, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). After treatment, there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in serum hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg), hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), and hepatitis B virus deoxyribonucleic acid (HBV DNA) load (P > 0.05). After treatment, the serum hyaluronic acid (HA), laminin (LN), procollagen type III (PCⅢ), and collagen type IV (CⅣ) levels of the observation group were all lower than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). After treatment, the shear wave elastography (SWE), portal vein diameter, splenic vein diameter, spleen thickness, and spleen length values of the observation group were all smaller than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). The total effective rate of the observation group (97.50%) was higher than that of the control group (75.00%), with a statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The combination of compound Biejia Ruangan pills and tenofovir alafenamide in the treatment of CHB-related hepatic fibrosis can improve liver function and delay the progression of hepatic fibrosis, with significant clinical efficacy.
