Clinical Efficacy and Safety Analysis of Shenkang Injection Combined with Hemodialysis in the Treatment of Chronic Renal Failure
Abstract:Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of hemodialysis combined with Shenkang injection in the treatment of chronic renal failure. Methods: A total of 60 patients with chronic renal failure who were treated at the Department of Nephrology, Nanyang Third People's Hospital from January 2022 to August 2024 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into a combined treatment group (hemodialysis combined with Shenkang injection) and a single treatment group (hemodialysis alone), with 30 patients in each group. The renal function indicators, anemia indicators, nutritional indicators, cardiac morphology indicators, relevant laboratory indicators, clinical efficacy, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results: After treatment, the levels of serum creatinine (Scr), β2-microglobulin, uric acid, and urea nitrogen in the combined treatment group were lower than those in the single treatment group, while the endogenous creatinine clearance rate (Ccr) was higher, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). After treatment, the levels of hemoglobin (Hb), reticulocyte count (RTC), hematocrit (HCT), and red blood cell count (RBC) in the combined treatment group were higher than those in the single treatment group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). After treatment, the levels of serum iron, ferritin, total iron-binding capacity (TIBC), and transferrin saturation (TSAT) in the combined treatment group were higher than those in the single treatment group, while the level of soluble transferrin receptor (sTfR) was lower, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). After treatment, the left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVDD), left ventricular end-systolic diameter (LVDS), and left atrial diameter (LAD) values in the combined treatment group were smaller than those in the single treatment group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). After treatment, the levels of total cholesterol (TC) and triglycerides (TG) in the combined treatment group were lower than those in the single treatment group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05), but there was no statistically significant difference in serum potassium (K+) levels between the two groups (P > 0.05). The total effective rate of the combined treatment group was higher than that of the single treatment group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the overall incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Hemodialysis combined with Shenkang injection shows significant clinical efficacy in the treatment of chronic renal failure, effectively improving renal function, nutritional status, cardiac function, and related laboratory indicators, without increasing adverse reactions.
