Research Progress on the Influencing Factors and Prevention and Treatment Strategies of Postoperative Urinary Retention After Radical Hysterectomy for Cervical Cancer
Abstract:Cervical cancer is a common malignant tumor of the female reproductive system, and radical hysterectomy is one of the important treatment methods. Postoperative urinary retention, as a common complication, has a serious impact on patients' quality of life and postoperative recovery. In recent years, experts and scholars have gradually recognized various factors affecting postoperative urinary retention after radical hysterectomy for cervical cancer, including surgical techniques, postoperative management, and individual differences of patients. Although there have been multiple studies exploring the potential mechanisms of postoperative urinary retention in cervical cancer, there is still a lack of systematic summary and effective prevention and treatment strategies. Therefore, this article reviews the research on the influencing factors and current clinical prevention and treatment strategies of postoperative urinary retention after radical hysterectomy for cervical cancer in recent years, aiming to provide references for clinical development of individualized treatment plans, promote early recovery of urinary function and improvement of quality of life after surgery.
