Application of Neural Regulation in the Treatment of Psoriasis: A Case Report
Abstract:Psoriasis, also known as 'psoriasis vulgaris', is a common polygenic hereditary skin disease, often characterized by scaly erythematous plaques or patches that are localized or widely distributed. Currently, the treatment methods for psoriasis mainly include topical therapy, phototherapy, and systemic therapy. However, these treatments have serious side effects and unclear therapeutic effects, which limit the widespread application of existing treatment methods. Neural regulation is a new strategy applied in the treatment of psoriasis in recent years. It mainly selects the corresponding innervating nerves according to the area of skin damage in the patient, and uses intraspinal nerve or peripheral nerve modulation to achieve therapeutic effects. This article reports a case of a 24-year-old female patient with psoriasis who was improved through neural regulation. After treatment, the patient was followed up for 3 months and recovered well.
