Abstract：Hydrogeophysics is an emerging interdisciplinary discipline that developed in the 1990s, covering geology, geophysics, geography, and other disciplines. It aims to accurately characterize surface and groundwater hydrological processes and the distribution of property parameters using geophysical data. To promote academic exchange among domestic scholars, stimulate innovation, and support the growth of young talents, Professor Hu Xiangyun from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) initiated the first 'Interdisciplinary Youth Forum on Hydrogeophysics', which was successfully held in August 2023. The second forum was held smoothly at Jilin University in August 2024.
