Abstract："Culture and Aesthetics of Modern Lingnan Architecture" is an excellent works which analyzed from architectural aesthetics perspective. The author drew and referred to the researches of architecture aesthetics,and promoted"four levels theory" and"architectural adaptability theory" about architectural aesthetic culture mechanism which based on the philosophy of existential and value,from these the author constructed a systematic architectural aesthetics theory, In the research of modern Lingnan architecture,especially of overseas Chinese building,the author promoted a concept of "cultural and regional disposition",which has a wide applicability in the research of regional buildings.The whole works has a strict logic and a broad vision, which provide a model for the deeplevel expand in humanistic field of Lingan architecture school.
