Abstract:The pollution control in the steel industry should focus on the terminal sulfur emission control of blast fur-nace gas, with the core of reduction of organic sulfides such as COS at the source.Based on the hydrolysis catalytic pathway,COS and gaseous H2O are directionally converted into CO2 and H2 S on the catalyst surface to achieve desul-furization.However,the sulfur poisoning induced by oxygen species and the synergistic corrosion of HCl in the system constitute a dual constraint:the oxygen environment promotes the oxidation of H2 S to elemental sulfur and sulfate, which covers the active sites, while HCl erodes the metal active centers through strong adsorption(formation of M-Cl bonds)and weakens the catalyst's anti-sulfur performance. This mechanism shares commonalities with the active site collapse induced by Cl-in the methanol synthesis system and the deactivation of precious metals-chlorides in the combustion of chlorinated VOCs.The regulation strategies include:optimizing the Cl-adsorption energy barrier on the catalyst surface to inhibit chemical bonding;constructing an oxidation conversion channel for Cl-to Cl2 to pre-vent accumulation;inhibiting surface migration to isolate Cl-from active sites. The selection of regulation schemes needs to take into account the principles and conditions of the hydrolysis reaction, ultimately achieving the coordina-ted optimization of catalytic hydrolysis and anti-poisoning performance under complex operating conditions(O2,H2O,Cl/S species).
