Abstract:The reactivity of coke with CO2 is a critical indicator for evaluating reaction degree with CO2,impacting blast furnace production efficiency and operational costs. Thus, the research progress on reaction mechanism and regula-tion technologies of coke solution loss was very important,in order to provide theoretical basis and technical support for the in-depth study of coke solution loss performance, energy saving and emission reduction of blast furnace ironmaking. The national standard test method of CSP and CSS parameters was introduced, the reaction mechanism, influencing factors and technical measures to reduce reactivity were focused on in the review.Based on Macro Kinetic Models such as Random Pore Model(RPM)and Unreacted Core Model(URCM),combined with Molecular Dynamics(MD),the mechanism of solution loss reaction between coke and CO2 was analyzed. The random pore model reveals correlation between reaction rate and pore surface area, while the unreacted core model can clarify control mechanism of diffusion and interfacial reactions in large particle systems.Molecular level simulations have found that the higher graphitization degree of coke, the more difficult dissolution reaction. The key factors affecting the solution loss performance of coke were further analyzed from the aspects of raw material characteristics of samples, coke preparation process and blast fur-nace operating conditions. It was pointed out that the selection of coal type, ash composition, carbonization tempera-ture and blast furnace atmosphere have a significant effect on the solution loss reaction. The measures to reduce solution loss performance, such as optimizing coke quality, controlling blast furnace operating parameters, improving burden structure and strengthening coke pretreatment were put forward. The future research directions of coke microstructure mechanism,on-line detection technology and green low-carbon coking technology development were prospected.
