Cleanliness grade and distribution characteristics of No.5 -3 coal seam in Hexingliang mine field of northern Shaanxi

Abstract：In order to study the clean and efficient utilization of coal resources in Hexingliang minefield ,Jurassic coal field in northern Shanxi,and based on the statistical analysis of coal quality testing data of drills which had already been constructed in the mine field,the coal quality characteristics and process performance of No.5-3 coal were systematically analyzed.Adopting the method of Main index zoning map,combining with the 6 grades division program of clean coal rank in coal resources evaluation,the coal cleanliness grades were divided,the results showed that the clean grade of 5-3 raw coal belongs to grade II~III,it is the good~relatively good clean coal,the major part of the coal is grade II,grade III is mainly distributed in the western part and the southeastern corner of the mine field;after flotation,the grade of float coal belongs to grade I~II,the float coal belongs to special good~good clean coal,and the grade I occupies the most part of the float coal,grade II is mainly scattered distributed.
