Coal quality characteristics and liquefaction properties of Guojiawan exploration area in Shenfu mining area

Abstract：Combined with the work product of coal exploration in Guojiawan exploration area of Shenfu mining area,the coal petrography characteristics,coal quality characteristics and change law of workable coal seam were systematically analyzed,furthermore,the coal type and lithotype in the region were determined,and the liquefaction properties were evaluated preliminarily.The results showed that,the vitrinite accounts for 45% in organic maceral,inertinite accounts for 52.3%,exinite group accounts for 0.9%which is quite little;the inorganic constituents are mainly the carbonate minerals,a small amount of clay minerals are existed.The coal quality generally is the extra low-low ash,extra low sulfur,high calorific value non caking coal.The direct liquefaction coal is mainly distributed at 5-2 coal seam in northeast corner of the research region,the resource is about 15010 thousand ton,the coal from other coal seam is not suitable for direct liquefaction.
