Healthy Farming and Disease Prevention of Freshwater Crayfish in Industrialized Aquaculture
Abstract:Keke Dala City in the Fourth Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps is located in a temperate continental semi-arid climate zone. Winters are cold and long, with average temperatures ranging from -10°C to -20°C, and extreme low temperatures can drop below -30°C. Winter precipitation is mainly in the form of snowfall, with snow accumulation in river valley plains typically ranging from 20 to 40 cm, and snow accumulation in mountainous areas exceeding 50 cm. Despite the harsh climatic conditions, the region has abundant and high-quality water resources, which basically meet the environmental requirements for crayfish farming. In recent years, based on local resource conditions, the 68th Regiment has initially achieved explorations in industrialized breeding of crayfish during winter, providing practical basis for aquaculture in cold regions. This paper summarizes the management of healthy industrialized farming of crayfish and the disease situations that occurred during the farming process, and conducts relevant thinking and analysis, aiming to provide references for aquaculture under similar climatic conditions.
