Rice - Red Claw Crab Ecological Co-cultivation Experiment
Abstract:In 2024, the research team designed and implemented a field experiment on 'Rice-Red Claw Crab Ecological Co-cultivation' in Qinhua Town, Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou. The experiment aimed to explore the technical feasibility of this model in the late rice production area of Xiaoshan through strict field engineering design (ditch excavation, escape prevention, oxygenation), optimized planting and breeding management processes (rice variety selection, water management, feed feeding, water quality control), and scientific input-output accounting. The focus was on evaluating its performance in terms of yield, economic benefits, and ecological benefits (reducing fertilizer and pesticide use), and identifying key factors affecting success (especially seedlings and oxygenation) and their optimization strategies. This paper provides a detailed report on the materials, methods, results, and conclusions of this experiment.
