High-yield and Efficient Breeding Model of Crabs with White Shrimp in Ponds
Abstract：This study selected a 20-mu crab pond of farmer Wang Guiping in Sihong County, Jiangsu Province, as the research object, and conducted a systematic analysis of the 'crab pond breeding white shrimp' model. Farmer Wang Guiping has been engaged in crab farming since 1992. In 2024, he applied key technologies such as self-bred crab seedlings, scientific feeding, and ecological regulation to explore a high-yield and efficient breeding model for crabs with white shrimp in ponds. The research results show that this model effectively improves the comprehensive benefits of breeding through approaches such as spatial stratified utilization, nutritional complementation, and biological regulation, providing a reference-worthy efficient breeding scheme for major crab production areas in Northern Jiangsu.
